FAQs
What if I’m not flexible enough?
You don’t need to be flexible to start yoga. Flexibility is a result of consistent practice, not a requirement. Modifications are offered throughout the class so you can work at your own pace. As long as you breathe and keep an open mind, you’re doing it right.
Are the classes beginner friendly?
Yes. We offer beginner-friendly classes and all levels are welcome. The difficulty level of each class is indicated on the booking app so you can choose the one that suits you best.
What style of yoga do you teach?
Our studio offers a dynamic blend of movement-focused classes including Rocket Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Power style Vinyasa, Handstand Conditioning, and Mobility/Flexibility training. These classes are designed to help you build strength, improve mobility, and develop a deeper connection with your body.
- Rocket Yoga is a playful and energetic style based on the Ashtanga system, with options and progressions that encourage exploration and arm balances.
- Power-style Vinyasa is a dynamic flow where poses are sometimes pulsed or held with controlled movement, creating heat in the body and building endurance while keeping the practice fun and energising
- Vinyasa Flow links breath with movement in a fluid sequence that builds strength, flexibility, and focus.
- Handstand Conditioning focuses on drills and strength exercises to help you safely build the skills needed for inversions.
- Mobility/Flexibility classes help improve joint health, range of motion, and recovery to support both yoga and everyday movement.
All classes offer modifications so you can practice at a level that feels right for you
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Athletic or yoga wear is recommended, and since we move in many positions, please ensure clothing is suitable for a public studio environment.
Do I need to bring my own mat?
You’re welcome to bring your own mat if you have one. Studio mats are available, but we recommend bringing your own for comfort and hygiene.
How early should I arrive?
Please arrive 10 minutes before class to check in, set up your mat, and settle into the space before practice begins.
What if I arrive late?
If you arrive after class has started, please enter quietly and respectfully so as not to disturb other participants.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes. All classes should be booked through the studio booking app to secure your spot.
Can I eat before class?
It’s best to practice on a light stomach. We recommend avoiding heavy meals 1–2 hours before class, but a small snack is fine if needed.
I have an injury. Can I still attend?
In many cases yes, but please inform the teacher before class so they can offer appropriate modifications. If you are unsure, consult your healthcare professional first.
What if I need to cancel my class?
Please cancel through the booking app within the cancellation window so another student can take the spot
